How Far Along: 32 weeks

Gender: A girl!!! Grace Elizabeth Coghill

Weight gain: 22 pounds

Movement: LOTS of movement - getting more kicks at the top of my belly. She's hiccuping a lot too.

Sleep: The heartburn is making it hard to sleep but it's better when I sleep on my left side. Tums are on my nightstand now! Also had a couple of bouts of insomnia this week when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep.
Symptoms: Heartburn; braxton hicks several times a day; feeling really tired.

Cravings: Ice cream, chocolate, red velvet cake ice cream - yum. The fact that halloween candy is out in the stores is going to take some serious willpower.

Best moment this week: Getting my maternity portraits taken on Saturday!

Pregnancy Highlights - 31 weeks

How Far Along: 31 weeks

Gender: A girl!!! Grace Elizabeth Coghill
Weight gain: 19 pounds

Movement: LOTS of movement - feeling like she's rolling over in my stomach sometimes. She's hiccuping a lot too.
Sleep: Trying to sleep on my left side, but it's hard. Getting up 3 times a night to pee.
Symptoms: Heartburn - taking more tums this week; braxton hicks contractions several times a day - my tummy gets really hard and feels like she's balling up inside.
Cravings: Ice cream, chocolate, red velvet cake ice cream - yum. The fact that halloween candy is out in the stores is going to take some serious willpower.
Best moment this week: Passing 3-hour glucose test!

30 Weeks!

I was 30 weeks on Tuesday and also had my 3 hour glucose test. I'm really praying that I passed it and should know something in the next day or two. Here's my belly shot for 30 weeks!

I feel like my belly has tripled in size these past few weeks! Even the maternity shirts look short on me! Grace is measuring right on track and she has been hiccupping like crazy, 2 or 3 times a day. I feel it really low which makes me think that she's head down. Oh well, none of that matters with a c-section! I've also had braxton hicks a couple of times a day and it feels like my belly gets really hard and tight. She's also moving more at night which makes sleeping interesting.  I'm still at 19 pounds for weight gained so far - hoping I can stay under 30 by the time she comes.

I had a dream this week that I was nursing Grace and she was this gigantic baby, toddler-sized. It was funny! Counting down the days until we meet her - 63!! It will be here before we know it and there's still so much to do. I've started washing a few of the clothes that I have bought and that has been given to us - so excited with all the cute pink, girly stuff! She's definitely going to have more clothes than Davis did as a baby!
