Aye, Matey! Hand Over Your Booty!

Davis had his halloween carnival at school today and all the kids dressed up in their costumes. This year, he's a pirate. He looks so cute and is going around saying "ARRGH!".

I'm A Big Kid Now!

On Sunday, October 11, we transitioned Davis to a toddler bed. He did so well with it overall and I'm so proud of him! I had a more difficult time than he did. I guess one chapter is ending and the next is beginning. It's so bittersweet...

I also bought Davis a potty last week, we call it Mr. Froggie because it is a green frog, but he has done great with it. He peed in it the first night we gave it to him and we let him sit / play on it every night before bathtime. He's been trying the potty at school too.

Like Father, Like Son.

Fun at the Fair!

We went to the fair this past Saturday and my family met us there. It was cold and cloudy, but we still had fun! The highlights: Davis rode a lot of kiddie rides, Daddy won him a stuffed Nemo, and we ate lots of junk food including fried Oreos!

Davis and Mommy on the swings - he wasn't too crazy about them!

It's the Great Pumpkin, Davis Graham!

It's that time of year again: pumpkin patches, halloween costumes, leaves changing....I love it! We just got out one of Davis' favorite books, 'Who Said Boo?', to read at bedtime each night to get in the Halloween spirit! The funny thing about this book is that Greg and I bought this book before Davis was even born - who knew it would be such a hit! But it's cute, with flaps that lift, and Greg and I make funny voices for each of the characters, so Davis loves it, and it seems that this will be our family tradition, our way of welcoming in the start of Fall.

We took Davis to the Hill Ridge Farms this past Sunday. We had heard mixed reviews, so I really didn't know what to expect, but we had a lot of fun and Davis loved the pumpkin patch!
