So with every day we see more and more of his personality come out. He tends to be more shy than outgoing, but definitely has a silly side. He is very stubborn and independent - he gets it honest! But it's so much fun as his mom to just sit back and let him try to do something on his own - he's very good about asking for help though.
The infatuation with balloons, fire trucks (and other "big trucks" as he calls them), dinosaurs, and curious george continues! I'm finding out as a parent, you really do get excited over things that excite your child...who knew that I would go crazy over seeing a fire truck driving down the street or Greg would call to tell me about the coolest dinosaur toy he saw in Wal Mart?
Having Fun at Frankies
My office had their annual family outing at Frankie's and Davis had a blast! We soaked Daddy on the bumper boats, then played an entire round of putt putt, ok we may have missed a few holes here and there... He also loved the simulation rides inside, although the only one we let him ride was the kiddie racecar. Some of those are really loud and kinda scary.

Meet the Heels
I think Greg was more excited about this outing than Davis! We went over to Chapel Hill with our friends Tyler and Mandy and their daughter Crosby to meet the Tarheel Football Team, however we never made it to the part where we met the players! Between the rain and the immense heat, we were all ready to go! But Davis had a chance to meet Rameses up close, which completely terrified him! And proud Papa bought Davis his first jersey - ah, what a moment! I have to admit, he does look good in light blue!
Cuteness Times Two
My parents had my nephew Jacob for a week, so they came over to Wake Forest and we took the boys to Red Robin, then over to our neighborhood fish pond to do a little fishing. It got a little dark on us though! The boys had fun and they are just so cute together!!
Running Amuck in Grandma's Backyard
Greg's mom and stepdad live on a golfcourse, so Davis has a blast when we're over there, running around in their huge backyard, then onto the course. There's also a small creek that runs on the other side of the golf course, so I got a cute picture of Daddy & Davis.
